October 2017, Passing of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 688 Post Chaplain Tony Spall

Tony served in the US Army in Vietnam as a Combat Medic. His actions earned him the Bronze Star Medal. He was wounded in battle and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was the Posts R.E.D. shirt committee founder and chairman. He made sure the public knew about RED shirts so that we could all be reminded to REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED!

Funeral arrangements have not yet been made but will be announced at a later time. Thank you Chaplain Tony Spall for all you did over the span of your life. It was a pleasure to know you, call you friend, and serve with you. We will miss you until we see you again one day in Heaven.
